The Windows on Science laserdisc series provides a comprehensive curriculae on science for grades K-12. The Grade Two topics include astronomy, earth's weather, surface features (landforms, erosion, minerals...), fossils and dinosaurs, and Earth resources (energy, earth's materials, recycling).

Each unit includes a lesson plan, with vocabulary words, related activities and assessment methods. The units are taught using laserdisc technology with a bar-code system to access movies, photos, maps and graphs.
